At Level 3 in Reiki training, you become a Reiki Master. At this level you are dedicated to living your life with Reiki. You decide if you want to become a Master or a Master Teacher. You are given the Master symbol which further raises the vibration of the healing energy you channel and pass on to others.

One can become an Usui Reiki Master once they have completed their First and Second Degrees of Reiki Training and have gained sufficient experience to be able to guide others (at least one year since Reiki Level 2). You can choose to become a Reiki Master, in which the Master symbols are given to you to enable you to channel an even higher vibration of energy or you could become a Master-Teacher. Some people would like to learn more about the Master energy and work with that energy but they do not want to teach. You don't have to become a teacher unless you want to, or until you are ready to.

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translanted to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action."

To become a Karuna Reiki® Master, one first has to have had the Usui Master attunement. Karuna Reiki® was channelled and developed by William Lee Rand and works with ancient Tibetan symbols which work together with Usui Reiki symbols to create powerful and life-changing healing.
